Microsoft Teams Direct Routing and Audiocodes SBC – Conflicting Payload Type

If you are using an Audiocodes SBC to connect your SIP Trunk to Microsoft Teams Direct Routing, you had probably the situation, where inbound calls are failing.

I had this situation a few days ago and spent some time for analyzing it.

#Microsoft isn't using SIP REFER in a #MicrosoftTeams Auto Attendant or Call Queue scenario anymore.
This change was made back in March or April.

However, note that REFER is still used and must be configured on your SBC.

E.g. in call on hold scenario and using the Teams MoH😊

It seems that #Microsoft renamed the licenses for #MicrosoftTeams resource accounts 🥳
Now, it aligns to feature/function and is easier to explain to the license manager 😍👍
